EPIC Business

How does your business impact community?

The EPIC Business project recognizes area businesses for their efforts in building a healthy and safe community.

There are two ways to apply for this designation. For businesses that sell alcohol to receive this designation, the following criteria need to be met:

  • Business has strong written policies with specific, consistent consequences related to alcohol sales.
  • Business utilizes evidence-based underage drinking prevention practices.
  • Staff receive training on best practices for alcohol sales to prevent underage drinking.

OR

For businesses that do not sell alcohol, you must show your commitment to preventing youth substance misuse by donating at least $250 (cash or in-kind) and by volunteering. The donation and volunteer support can be directly to EPIC or to other non-profit organizations that are implementing evidence-based prevention strategies.

EPIC would like to invite you and your business to apply for the EPIC Business designation.

Businesses meeting the criteria for the EPIC Business designation will be announced in December. Those businesses will be recognized in local media including the newspaper, on billboards , and on EPIC’s website and social media pages. Businesses may receive additional recognition for achieving this designation.

To apply, please complete the following application and submit it by November 11. Businesses receiving the designation will be announced in December. One entry per business please.
