EPIC

Welcome Social Work Practicum Student Celia Parsons

Hello everyone! My name is Celia Parsons, and I am currently completing the last semester of my bachelor’s in social work degree from SEMO! I was born and raised in Rolla, Missouri, but moved to Cape Girardeau three and a half years ago for college. I have grown to really love this community and all that it has to offer. Some of my favorite things in Cape are the Riverfront Farmer’s Market, Sugar Chic Creamery, and Annie Laurie’s Eclectic Emporium. In my free time, I enjoy cooking new recipes, playing any type of card game, and spending money I do not have on clothes I do not need. I am so excited to complete my internship with EPIC this semester to learn more about what social work practice looks like in the non-profit world!

Joining together in a common effort to build a healthy and safe community, reducing the risks of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs while promoting the healthy attitudes and behaviors of youth in Southeast Missouri.
